What's New at Dust Jacket Review

Hello DJR faithful!  We just uploaded a number of new upgrades around and about DJR, so here is a quick rundown for your reading pleasure.

First things first, our members can now submit news items.  If you have something interesting or fun to report in the book world, let us know.  We also encourage those in our community with upcoming book releases or events to tell us (and the rest of DJR) about it in a news submission.

To those of you with your own personal website -- be it blog, publication, etc -- there is a new section of account settings where you can establish links between your site and your DJR membership.  Go to the badges section in your account settings, and you can submit the web address for your website.  Once we approve it, that site will be linked to your profile, book reviews, and elsewhere around DJR.

We have a new look for published reviews on member profiles, so check it out.

On the horizon is a slick new search engine for DJR.  We know, we know -- much needed.  I am excited to report that our searches will very soon become speedier, with more relevant results.

Until next time, happy reading.

Out Stealing Horses, by Per Petterson
This is a quiet book, with a subtle, quiet impact. Thankfully, such low-decibel works are still receiving attention in the world of smash-'em-ups and steamy scandal, where much of our entertainment l...

I wanted to like this book; I really, really did. I thought something set in a post-9/11 world that still has elements of cyberpunk--I could TOTALLY get on board with that. And yet...This book disap...
