Warm Up with a Romantic Novel, Why Don’t You?
| news item by BLNicholas , Eclectic book explorer, writer, teacher |
By Brenda Nicholas
Well it’s February 13, Valentine’s Eve, and if you haven’t bought your sweetie some chocolate yet this is your reminder to hightail it on out to your nearest chocolate dealer. If you live anywhere near me—North and East—you may be S.O.L since we’re possibly getting hammered with roughly 40 inches (40 INCHES) of snow. This leads me to the subject of romance. Hey, if you’ll be snowed in like me, light up the fireplace! Tis the season.
Single? Not to worry, there are books. Not only are there books with plenty of romance, but there are books such as Pillow Talk by Freya North that win awards such as The Romantic Novel of the Year Award.

If you're stuck chocolate-less, you could always send a Valentine's excerpt instead. :)

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the novel that took this series to a whole new level. Not only is it more complicated, dramatic, and suspenseful than the first three, but it is also the found...
